"The bluest eyes"

I read The Bluest Eye over me spring break and I thing it’s a very interesting book. I'm not a lover of the book, but this book somehow pushed me to read more, not only some newspaper or class book, but also some book that could make me thinks about more things around my personality.

This book is about little black girl living in America in early 1940's. Pecola Breedlove, that was the name of the little girl, always prays for blue eyes and blond hair. She thought that could change her into a better person and some people will take at her as different person. It shows how children are understanding the "grownups" world, how they can make decision between good and bad. We can see also that the author wanted to show people lived and raised their families earlier. We can see the differences between now and then.

I thing that book make me realize how today life is more simple and better for us. How today parents think in different ways. That helps us to grow up faster and see how the real world is different people who we not ready for it. That book made me think more about real life. Maybe I didn’t catch the real meaning of the book, but I think every reader should have their own opinion, observation and make there own conclusions for then selves.
