Summary: It’s about a man, who lost his love wife Lenore. We was sitting in his room in his chair and reading the book. Suddenly something stared to knocked to the door. At the first time when he checked, he was a little bit afraid, because he did not found any one at the door. He thought that was his dead wife. After while he heard knocking again, but this time at the window. Then he went and opened the door and saw the raven. The bird came to the house and sit on the statue. The poet asked the raven about his name, and he answers "nevermore".
